Here’s a look at all those fixtures in July.

Ayr

Sunday 5 July

Join the fun at the west of Scotland track’s Family Sunday Raceday. The day will kick off with the famous mascot race and there will be loads of activities like face painting, crafts, inflatables and funfair rides. Equine ambassador Black Friday will be there to meet his many fans.

Market Rasen

Sunday 5 July

If you’re sports mad then the Lincolnshire course is where you need to be. The Family Sportsday Raceday will embrace the World Cup, Wimbledon, the Commonwealth Games and the Women’s T20 World Cup with all manner of events. There will be sportsday favourites like the sack, egg-and-spoon and three-legged races during the afternoon, as well as inflatables and soft play.

Ascot

Saturday 11 July

Racing To Zero Summer Mile Family Raceday is billed as an enchanting garden party for all the family. There’s loads of activities and entertainers for younger racegoers and visitors are welcome to enjoy a picnic on the pristine lawns. There will also be vibrant community and environmental showcases.

Hamilton

Saturday 11 July

The course’s Family Racenight will feature free children’s activities and live music from Scottish boyband Just The Brave before racing, as well as singer-songwriter Connor Fyfe at the after party.

Perth

Sunday 12 July

There will be all manner of fun activities for kids, including football sessions, the Muckmedden cycle track, inflatables and giant games to compliment an afternoon of jump racing.

Newton Abbot

Sunday 19 July

It won’t just be the horses battling it out for honours on the Family Fun Day. The track’s annual mascot race, sponsored by Rowcroft Hospice, will feature alongside inflatables, face painting, a human fruit machine, magician, and a range of traditional games.

Redcar

Sunday 19 July

The circus is coming to Redcar. Younger visitors will be able to learn all manner of circus skills in the big top, while there will also be inflatables and face painting.

Ayr

Monday 20 July

The fun-filled spectacle of the west Scotland track’s Mascot race will kick off events on its Family Sunday Raceday. There will also be live shows, funfair rides, crafts and face painting.

Musselburgh

Tuesday 21 July

Younger visitors are encouraged to dress up as their favourite superhero on what promises to be an unforgettable afternoon. Superhero Family Day, in partnership with Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, will also feature a kids’ disco, pony rides, funfair and you will be able to meet some of the most recognisable superheroes during the afternoon.

Catterick

Wednesday 22 July

There will be lots of entertainment for younger guests at Catterick’s Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival Fun Day.

Thirsk

Friday 24 July

There will be live music from Gracie & Erin at the course’s Summer Family Day. There will also be heaps of children’s activities, including inflatables, jungle run, fairground stalls and a kids’ disco.

Pontefract

Sunday 26 July

There will be plenty to see and do, alongside an enjoyable afternoon’s Flat racing, at the Yorkshire course’s Summer Soundtrack Family Day.

Uttoxeter

Sunday 26 July

There’s entertainment for all at the course’s Family Fun Raceday. It will feature DJs and dancers from K-Pop Disco, as well as a children’s funfair, fight station kickboxing workshop, Burton Albion penalty shootout, crazy golf, balloon modelling and much more.

Beverley

Tuesday 28 July

Younger visitors will be able to have their face painted in the colours of their favourite sports team or made to look like a well-known TV character at Beverley’s Family Fun Raceday. They will also be able to try out juggling, tightrope walking and plate spinning in a circus workshop. There will be a funfair and stalls to add to the excitement.
