Born in Ireland, Sean Quinlan moved to England to pursue a career as a jump jockey and has since established himself as one of the leading riders on the northern circuit.   

Riding his first winner in the 2005/06 season, Quinlan has gone on to ride hundreds of winners, with his career best season coming in 2021/22, along with a win in the Morebattle Hurdle, proving age is just a number.  

He has been a familiar face for a number of northern trainers and has forged a particularly productive partnership in recent seasons with Jennie Candlish, adding further depth to an already consistent career.
