Reigning Champion Flat jockey Oisin Murphy added a first British Classic success to his already burgeoning C.V. by winning the rescheduled QIPCO 2000 Guineas aboard 10/1 shot Kameko. The Andrew Balding-trained three-year-old showed a great mix of speed and endurance as he stuck on gamely to defeat Frankie Dettori and Wichita by a neck.
