The jockey of the moment, Rachael Blackmore created a massive piece of racing history as she and Minella Times landed the 2021 Grand National in stunning fashion.
Just a few weeks on from a miraculous Cheltenham Festival where she won the top jockey award, she combined yet again with trainer Henry De Bromhead to win the biggest race of them all.
Whilst Rachael Balckmore will get all the headlines, It was miraculous training performance from De Bromhead who had the first the two home; 100-1 outsider Balko Des Flos running on into second
Following Rachael’s historic win, social media was awash with reaction from everyone within the industry!ย

I feel quite emotional. To think that girls can go out & compete on equal terms with the boys and today cross the most famous winning line in front, paving the way for future generations, makes me so proud to be a part of this sport. Girls can, and this girl bloody did ๐ช๐ป๐๐ป pic.twitter.com/vXYtRMk1nO
