The four-day St Leger Festival dominates the month’s Premier Racing fixtures with the focus falling on Doncaster and the original Classic contest.
The meeting kicks off with a brace of Group 2 races – the Betfred May Hill Stakes and the Betfred Park Hill Stakes – on the Yorkshire track’s Ladies Day.
The stayers feature on Friday in the Group 2 Betfred Doncaster Cup, with the fastest two-year-olds battling it out for the Group 2 Carlsberg Flying Childers Stakes.
Derby hero Lambourn and Goodwood Cup winner Scandinavia are among the likely runners in the Betfred St Leger on Saturday. The final Classic of the season is shaping to be a vintage edition of the historic contest.
There will be live music after racing on each of the first three days. The meeting ends with the popular Betfred Sunday Funday when the Leger Legends race for ex-professional jockeys will feature among the action on the track. There will a whole host of family-friendly entertainment to add to the day’s enjoyment.
