The voting has now closed and David Probert has won with 48% of the vote.
The Welshman had a spectacular month recording 20 victories which included an amazing five-timer at Ffos Las.
The five-timer was followed up with another win the following day at the Welsh track, the six straight victories were at combined of odds of 322/1 which shows how impressive an achievement it was.
Probert recorded 11 victories throughout the month at Ffos Las which included two trebles, one of which came the day after his incredible five-timer.
The former three-time Champion Flat Jockey enjoyed big race success throughout August including victory in the Group 1 Coolmore Nunthorpe with Winter Power at York.
A typically strong ride out in front from de Sousa saw him win one of the biggest sprint races of the season.
The young, Irishman has been going from strength to strength in recent seasons and has now established himself as one of the top jockeys riding in the UK.
The highlight of Egan’s month was winning the Juddmonte International, one of the biggest races in the British racing calendar, with a horse that he’s built a strong relationship with in Mishriff. A superb performance by horse and jockey.
Alongside the huge win at York, Egan recorded 10 victories throughout August which included a double at Wolverhampton on 13th.
