Despite the challenges with Covid-19 Fallon has started 2020 in great form. His main aims for the season being to both ride out his claim and win a further Champion Apprentice title. Becoming a two-time title winner is a feat that is not often achieved.

Alongside his day-to-day quest of amassing plenty of winners, the youngster has set about making a splash at the bigger weekend meetings. However, even he couldn’t have dreamed that his first Group 1 victory would arrive so quickly. A devastating win in the Darley July Cup at Newmarket on board rising sprint star Oxted.
Appearing in just his second Group 1 contest, Fallon Jr got off the mark with an impressive ride aboard Roger Teal’s four-year-old.
No doubt the pair will have plenty of exciting day’s out ahead as both aim to further their careers together.Â
Champion Apprentice 2020
Fallon won the 2020 Apprentice Jockeys’ Championship with 43 winners, he became the first dual winner of the Apprentice title in 32 years since Gary Bardwell who won consecutive Champion Apprentice titles.
