Families looking for an unforgettable day out this summer can now book to attend National Racehorse Week 2026. With free tickets available from the 22nd to 31st August, British Racing will be opening its doors to the public with more than 100 events taking place throughout the entire length and breadth of Britain.
Racehorse training yards, studs and retraining centres will be open and invite you to get up close to the equine stars of horseracing, providing family-friendly demonstrations, exciting displays, and a unique day out with something for everyone.

In the South West of England, there are still plenty of yards with availability during the week, and there is so much to see and learn at every single one of them.
Polly Gundry is an experienced trainer of both flat and jump horses, with a visit to her Devon yard an excellent opportunity to see exactly the difference in training between the two disciplines.
Joe Tickle Racing are opening their doors to National Racehorse Week guests once again this year and offers another great option for those based in the county of Devon.
Ben Clarke is growing each and every year, winning over £600,000 in career prize money. He is also opening his beautiful yard to visitors in Dorset where you can meet the horses and immerse yourself in a live farrier and physio demonstration.

There are three fantastic events in the Midlands with plenty of availability for guest bookings.
Martin Keighley has trained 23 Cheltenham winners and will be opening his Condicote Stables in Gloucestershire on Saturday 22nd August. Visitors can expect to witness a morning of exercise on the spectacular gallops, as well as enjoying a comprehensive tour of the yard. No matter what your interest in racing is, whether total newcomer or seasoned fan, there is something special at the yard for visitors to enjoy.
Warren Chase Stables will play host to an event that is almost certainly not to miss. Warwickshire-based Olly Murphy has trained 850+ winners in Britain, challenging strongly to become Champion Trainer over the past few years. He will be joined by Champion Jump Jockey Sean Bowen who will be giving riding demonstrations and taking part in autograph signings. You won’t want to miss the chance to get up close and personal with some of the very best jump racehorses in the country!
