What could be better than a day at the races followed by some live music?

As the summer heats up so does the live music at racetracks up and down the country. An eclectic mix of chart-toppers to suit all manner of musical tastes follow some great racing fixtures meaning after an exhilarating time spent watching the action there’s time to dance the night away.
Here’s some of the highlights in July…

Paloma Faith – 8^th July – Chepstow

It’s Ladies Evening at the iconic Welsh track and double platinum and BRIT ward winning artiste Paloma Faith brings her own style to what will be set to be a fashionable day at Chepstow.

Expect a spectacular production, ornate hats and of course a variety of food and drinks to suit all kinds of budgets.

Howard (Take That) – 22^nd July – Uttoxeter

Another one for the ladies as one third of Take That gets behind the decks to pump out some party classics at Uttoxeter’s Ladies Day.

Staffordshire welcomes the 45-time Number One hitting boyband star to follow all the style and range of options Uttoxeter has to offer whether that’s afternoon tea, fine dining or access to the centre of the course for as a little as £12.

Nile Rodgers – 27^th July – Sandown Park

A legend, plain and simple! Nile Rodgers and Chic perform pop anthems spanning multiple decades that are sure to get even the stiffest racegoer moving like ‘Le Freak’.

Easily accessible from London it’s sure to be ‘Good Times’ after a day of action at Sandown is closed out by the man with legendary productions with Davie Bowie, Madonna and Diana Ross smash hits.

A relaxed concert dress code means the vibe is very much about a festive atmosphere and everyone having a great time, with some legendary music.

Rosie Ramsey Massaoke – 23^rd July – Newcastle Racecourse

A little bit different this one as the stars of the show are the punters who sing alone en masse to some classic tunes.

Social media sensation Rosie Ramsey will lead the crowds with big screen lyrics so expect shower singers to head down to Newcastle to belt out anthems with thousands of other racegoers.

Expect plenty of style, a great day of racing and a few sore throats (and maybe ears) in the morning!

Sugababes – 23^rd July – York Racecourse

Time to ‘Push the Button’ and buy yourself tickets to one of the most successful girl bands of all time.

Keisha, Mutya and Siobhan will bust out number one hits at the historic venue with tickets as reasonable as £15 Clocktower Entrance where you can jump down on the grass and bring a picnic.

All the while watching the Skybet York Stakes before dancing the night away with the girls!
