As the summer heats up so does the live music at racetracks up and down the country. An eclectic mix of chart-toppers to suit all manner of musical tastes follow some great racing fixtures meaning after an exhilarating time spent watching the action there’s time to dance the night away.
Here’s some of the highlights in July…
Pete Tong – Newmarket – 12th August
Expect Ibiza classics and a live orchestra with the legendary DJ. Turning the racing mad town of Newmarket into the white isle you can dance the night away in this incredible musical experience after a great day’s racing. If it all goes a bit Pete Tong with your selections you’re guaranteed to forget about it with the euphoric dance sessions.
Human League – Lingfield – 6th August
80s synth pop legends Human League are set to light up Lingfield at the start of August. Follow the racing in Surrey with a nostalgic throwback. You never know, you might meet a waitress from the cocktail bar?!
Rudimental – Haydock Park – 5th August
Feel the Love as the East London drum and bass crew light up Kempton Park. Fast paced, high octane and sure to get you bouncing as quick as some of the jockeys on the back of your winners.
Simply Red – Sandown – 4th August
Message your Mum and tell her Mancunian crooner Mick Hucknall is bringing his live show to Sandown. Who knows, whisper it quietly, you might just enjoy the acclaimed live performance too!
Madness – Windsor – 26th August
Message your Dad and tell him the baggy-trousered-but-not-actually-baggy-trousered ska legends will be bouncing Windsor post-meeting at the end of August. A fantastic day on the track, some dancing and then off to your house… in the middle of the street… what more could you want?!
