It’s incredible to think that Aidan O’Brien has won the 2000 Guineas a massive NINE times! The nearest trainer to O’Brien is Sir Michael Stoute with five victories (a mightily impressive haul in itself) and Sir Michael has been training for quite a few more years than the Ballydoyle maestro.
O’Brien will be hoping to hit double figures this Saturday and as always he has a number of chances once again this year. O’Brien has two runners declared for the 2019 QIPCO 2000 Guineas and he has the two current favourites in Magna Grecia and Ten Sovereigns.
