He has earned the trust of trainers and owners through consistent performances and a calm presence in high pressure situations. His growing work with trainer Jeremy Scott has been an important part of his development, based on mutual confidence and a shared ambition to challenge at the highest level. 

In 2025, Williams emerged onto one of the biggest stages of all with a bang, claiming a dramatic victory in the Unibet Champion Hurdle aboard Golden Ace. 

Their partnership has continued to blossom and in late 2025, Williams and Golden Ace repeated the feat in the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle through determination, class and tactical harmony.
