With a couple of Bank Holidays in May, there are plenty of fun-filled Family Racedays.

Check out the racecourses’ websites for full details. Entry and entertainment for kids is free at most of the fixtures.

Hamilton

Aspire Cleaning & Facilities Family Raceday, Sunday 3 May

The Scottish track kicks off its season with a heap of family fun. There will be a huge variety of kids’ activities to enjoy.

Salisbury

Fitzdares Bank Holiday Weekend Family Race Day, Sunday 3 May

There will be a fun-filled afternoon with the younger racegoers entertained by roaming dinosaurs, a mini funfair and other activities.

Bath

May Day Family Fun Day, Monday 4 May

There’s an entertaining afternoon in prospect for all the family. Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic (alcohol is not permitted) and enjoy all the activities, as well as some excellent racing.

Windsor

Big Bank Holiday Family Fun Day, Monday 4 May

A petting zoo, Lego speed ramp challenge and funfair are among the free family attractions. There’s added incentive to arrive early as there’s 50% off draught drinks for the first hour.

Warwick

Moore & Tibbits Family Fun Day, Monday 4 May

There’s a stack of fabulous activities on offer, including Nerf wars, penalty shootouts, circus skills and a helter skelter ride to compliment an afternoon’s jump racing.

Beverley

Family Fun Raceday, Monday 4 May

Come and meet friendly farm animals as part of Beverley’s Family Funday. An outdoor Games Zone will be packed with mini golf, giant Jenga and gladiator inflatable jousting, as well as a whole host of other activities.

Bangor

Family Fun Day, Saturday 16 May

Climbing walls, face painting and inflatables will be among a stack of activities for kids to enjoy on a day billed as Giggles, Games and Galloping.

Traditional Family Day, Sunday 17 May

There will be plenty to entertain the younger members of the audience at Ripon’s Traditional Family day, to compliment an afternoon of Flat racing.

Fontwell

Family Festival Raceday, Sunday 24 May

Everyone’s favourite pups from PAW Patrol will help make sure the day is a real ‘bark’. There will be a chance to meet the stars, as well as a whole host of kids’ entertainment.

Uttoxeter

Pirate Takeover Family Fun, Sunday 24 May

There’s a loads of swashbuckling fun in store on a pirate-themed family day. There will bouncy castles, funfair rides and face painting, as well as pirate shows. Shiver me timbers, it’s going to be a good day.

Windsor

Football and K-POP Family Fun Day, Monday 25 May

Meet some friendly animals at the petting zoo before taking on the Lego speed ramp and an array of funfair rides on Windsor’s Bank Holiday fun day.

Huntingdon

Family Fest, Monday 25 May

Help Huntingdon celebrate its last fixture before a summer break at Family Fest. Watch the Shetland pony racing before heading for the inflatable assault course, pony hopper, fairground stalls and other fun-filled activities.

Redcar

Zetland Gold Cup Family Day, Monday 25 May

There’s no end of free family fun on one of Redcar’s biggest meetings of the season. On the track, the prestigious Zetland Gold Cup is the big race of the day.

Bevereley

Family Fun Raceday, Wednesday 27 May

Young sports fans are going to be in their element. There will be a meet and greet with Hull City mascots Rory and Amber, as well as a chance to take part in a crossbar challenge. There will also be inflatable games and a beat the keeper penalty shootout challenge.

Roman Day, Saturday 30 May

Younger visitors will be transporter back in time at Chester’s popular Roman Day. There will be gladiator bootcamps, Roman stunt shows and fascinating interactive learning, as well as other fun Roman-themed activities.

Nottingham

Family Fun Raceday, Sunday 31 May

Tackle an assault course, take part in a gladiator duel and put your football skills to the test in a shootout. It’s all on Nottingham’s Family Raceday, along with a petting zoo, 10ft slide and golf simulator.
