What to wear for Investec Derby Day and Ladies Day

For the equine purists it doesn’t get much better; with the Investec Derby being viewed as the pinnacle of British Horseracing and the most prestigious prize in the calendar year. But, it’s not all about the horses as the Derby Festival also represents a great chance for racegoers to dress to impress. But one big question remains – what shall I wear for the big day?

With the weather set to be fair, thousands will descend upon Epsom Downs decked out in high-class hats, feathered fascinators and elegant Edwardian top hats and tails. The Summer Fashion Stakes seldom get higher.

To many what you wear to the track is just as important as who you to choose to place a bet on the day itself. So as a style warning, here are the official dress code rules that are not to be broken.
