The All-Weather Championships are back!

The exciting sixth season of the All-Weather Championships returns at Newcastle Racecourse on Tuesday 23rd and culminates with the tremendous £1million All-Weather Championships Finals Day at Lingfield Park on Good Friday, April 19th 2019.

Headlining the seven-race programme at Newcastle on October 23 is the £25,000 Ladbrokes Home Of The Odds Boost Conditions Race over six furlongs, the first of 24 Fast-Track Qualifiers during the 2018/19 All-Weather Championships.

There are four Fast-Track Qualifiers for each of the six categories. The Ladbrokes Home Of The Odds Boost Conditions Race gives the winner a guaranteed and free place in the £150,000 Ladbrokes Three-Year-Old All-Weather Championship on Good Friday next year.

Last season’s All-Weather Champion Jockey Luke Morris has six rides tomorrow at Newcastle tomorrow and will be looking to make a good start in defense of his crown.

Last season’s star performer was Gronkowski, named after the famous American Football player Rob Gronkowski, he won four All-Weather races including a listed race at Newcastle’s final All-Weather fixture last March. ‘Gronk’ would go on to to finish a close second in the Group One Belmont Stakes in America. The All-Weather Championships consists of over 200 thrilling fixtures for the next six months at Kempton, Lingfield, Newcastle, Southwell, Wolverhampton and Chelmsford City racecourses.
