The story of Welsh National hero Dream Alliance

Once in a while in racing, a story emerges that captivates not only fans and aficionados of the sport, but also the local community and wider public.

In 2009, five years ago, the village community of Cefn Fforest united thanks to the exploits of the Philip Hobbs-trained stayer Dream Alliance at Chepstow.

Owned in a syndicate made up by the majority of the village, their story is inspirational and incredible in equal measure.

Earlier this year, a film was released portraying the story of how racehorse Dream Alliance rose to the top to win one of the most competitive long distance contests of the season.
