Ahead of the official celebrations for The Queen’s 90th birthday next week at Windsor Castle, Royal Windsor Racecourse is hosting its own Royal Shetland Race in honour of Her Majesty on Monday 9 May at 4:10pm.

Six Shetland ponies, imitating some of Queen Elizabeth II’s best racing champions throughout her reign, will be haring down the Windsor straight over two and three quarter furlongs, with all riders donning the distinctive and prestigious Royal jockey silks owned by Her Majesty The Queen.

You can guarantee your place at Windsor to see this Royal spectacle by booking your tickets through the racecourse website.
