One of the most talented musicians of his generation, George Ezra, will bring Britain’s richest raceday to a close when he headlines the after-party at QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot racecourse on Saturday 21 October.
QIPCO British Champions Day will be one of the last opportunities for fans to see Ezra play in the UK this year, following a host of appearances on some of the summer’s biggest stages including the Isle of Wight Festival, Glastonbury and V Festival.
Ezra shot to fame with his quadruple platinum, number 1 debut album which included the hits ‘Budapest’ and ‘Blame it on Me’ and more recently released his latest single ‘Don’t Matter Now’ from his eagerly anticipated second album.
Last year QIPCO British Champions Day was rated the best raceday in Europe with two of the world’s top ten races (QIPCO Champion Stakes and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes). This year’s finale to the European flat racing season is set to be another high class affair with the winners of 83 Group 1s, together with Europe’s top ten horses, including wonder-filly, Enable, all entered to compete on the day.
Ticket prices start from £27 for adults and under 18s attend for free.
